[00:00:00] Adam Stott: Hello everybody and welcome back to another big success story that I’m with with Sandra from OK’s Digital, who is achieving some fast, fantastic things in the digital marketing space. I’m really pleased to have you here, Sandra. Uh, we’ve had a great time together over the three days. Uh, you’ve been really focused.

[00:00:19] You’ve been doing great things and you won the very coveted award of best online business in the room, which you should be super proud of because there’s some really good businesses here, right? And you stood out in that category with you with your award entry. So first of all, how does it feel? to be given that award, which you’re pretty happy?

[00:00:40] Sandra Lukoseviciene: Amazing, amazing. I’m just, uh, didn’t feel like I will be able to get something like this and go so far. So it’s like a big achievement for myself and I think for the future for myself and my business. So I’m really proud of this.

[00:00:55] Adam Stott: And it shows some great opportunity for growth in the future. So, well, well done to you.

[00:01:00] So, look, I’d love to hear a bit about your business. Who do you help? Tell everyone that’s watching a little bit about your business. So many business owners out there struggle with digital marketing. Um, and that’s an expertise of yours. Uh, tell us a bit about it.

[00:01:13] Sandra Lukoseviciene: So, basically what I’m trying to do, I want to help business to grow using digital solutions.

[00:01:18] The main, it’s websites. So, create websites to help the business to grow. So, implement right technology strategies. Strategy there and, um, to become more visible, more successful because this day some business still don’t understand importance of websites. Like I always like to say, it’s better, rather to have no website than bad website.

[00:01:44] So that’s why I’m trying to help them to choose the right website for their business. Get their websites right for them.

[00:01:51] Adam Stott: And how long have you been in the business now and, um, and what have been? Some of the challenges and the struggles that you’ve had you you’ve obviously now got to this point Where you’ve been recognized in the media while you’ve been here You’ve been recognized for the awards with a great work that you’ve done with your clients But at the beginning when you were starting out what some of the struggles that you’ve encountered and some of the challenges you’ve had?

[00:02:11] Sandra Lukoseviciene: The main struggle was language barrier because I came from Lithuania and I still learning to be able communicate right in English.

[00:02:20] So it was my biggest struggle And, uh, maybe not believing in myself enough. So, all these kind of struggles I was facing.

[00:02:29] Adam Stott: And that’s very admirable, really, that you came from another country, not speaking the language. You’ve been able to come into the UK. You’ve been able to get media coverage. You’re award winning now.

[00:02:42] You’re certainly going places as a business and you should feel really great right now about that. And, you know, I think that a lot of people underestimate how challenging that, that is, right? And, and the fact that you’ve gone through those challenges saying you should be really proud of. Why do you feel that you’re, you’re, you’re now making that progress?

[00:03:00] What are the skills you’ve built along the way in order to be able to make these, these differences to businesses?

[00:03:05] Sandra Lukoseviciene: So websites, skills, I finished university just last year. So the first skill, what I built, then English, of course, I improved so much, uh, time management skills, like, like a mom for two kids.

[00:03:16] It was challenging as well to find the time for business, for personal life, so.

[00:03:20] Adam Stott: And I think to ask about that. A a mum with two children running a business. Yeah. A lot of people that are watching may have children. They might find that challenging. I, I know you mentioned that you’ve, you, you’ve worked on your time management and that’s been a big thing for you.

[00:03:34] Is there anything that you’d like to mention on that? So maybe a strategy you’ve used or some tips you could give or even to show people that it is possible? What would you say around that?

[00:03:42] Sandra Lukoseviciene: Yes. I will say like, don’t try to be perfect. What I’m used to try to be like, uh, house 100 percent tidy all the time.

[00:03:50] You’re doing everything at home, at work, and you know, you can’t do anything perfect. You can’t do everything, just you need to prioritize things. What is important, what is least important, invest in yourself. Uh, later on, maybe invest in people who can help you. Let’s say, like, clean, help you with house duties or stuff like that.

[00:04:09] And in general, believe in yourself.

[00:04:11] Adam Stott: And the belief part. What’s a belief that you had maybe at the start that you’ve shed? Is there a fear or a belief that you used to have that you feel differently about now?

[00:04:21] Sandra Lukoseviciene: Fear. I had a lot of fears. I was so scared to talk, uh, in public. When I was back in Lithuania, it was things like I like to talk.

[00:04:30] I like to talk in general. I talk to person, but I found that struggle to talk in English. I still remember my last year in university when it was some, um, you know, some, some classes where I need to attend and present something in front of people. I always try to miss the classes, use excuses like a child’s childcare issues or something and don’t go.

[00:04:51] Even apart from that, I always have a greater tendencies because I was scared because I thought if somebody asked you a question and you’re not going to understand the answer, how to answer properly. So I think it’s the biggest fear what I faced. I always knew it like I want to do a business. Just didn’t know how to do it and how to overcome that fear.

[00:05:11] Adam Stott: Yeah, absolutely. You’ve done really, really well, you know, to To start building this business and start growing it. So you should be really proud of yourself there, especially like you say, having two children, bringing them up at the same time as running a business, lots of challenges there. Um, you’ve been with us here for, for the three days.

[00:05:29] Uh, you’ve been really attentive. You’ve been really focused. You’ve been asking great questions and, and taking it all in. What, what’s it been like, you know, what’s it been like for you, this type of experience? I know that previously you’ve, you’ve been Uh, three day event. You’ve come to business growth secrets.

[00:05:43] You spent time with us there and you’ve also spent time in our offices that become the market leader. What’s this been like? And why is it different? And how have you felt?

[00:05:53] Sandra Lukoseviciene: Uh, basically I’m in big business event like a few months already. It’s not like first or second time. It’s like four or five.

[00:05:59] Adam Stott: Oh, really? Four or five times.

[00:06:01] Yeah.

[00:06:01] Sandra Lukoseviciene: So first I started to attend in three events. Yeah. Then in others as well. I saw like, um, It will help me to grow faster. You know, like I knew it like I want to do business, but I didn’t know it how to do and big business events show me the way how to do it. And I remember the first time when I came to big business event, I was thinking I have that mentality.

[00:06:23] Like I’m quietly do websites at home, not talk too much with people. And now it’s changed because I saw how people grow up. I saw how people overcome this. want that anymore. I don’t want to stand now hiding on the desk. I want to go in the public. I want to speak with people. I want to be seen what I didn’t want before I started attending big business events.

[00:06:45] So it’s really changed significantly. Everything about myself and my career in the fuTure.

[00:06:50] Adam Stott: I’m really pleased to hear that. It’s lovely to hear that it’s made a good impact on not just your business, but the way you want to approach business as a whole and getting yourself out there, which undoubtedly is going to lead to more results.

[00:07:03] Obviously the business you built, OK Digital where can people go and look it up and start to see, there might be some people watching that need some help with a website, need some help with digital strategy. Where can they go and connect with you? What’s a good place for them to go?

[00:07:17] Sandra Lukoseviciene: SO i have a website, OKSDigital.com.

[00:07:19] So as well on social media, like Instagram and Facebook or my personal accounts as well.

[00:07:24] Adam Stott: And that is O K S digital. So okay. It’s digital. Go and check out Sandra, everything that she’s doing. She’s amazing. She’s won best online for a reason. She’s demonstrated great skill while she’s been here. Great abilities. Certainly understands the digital landscape really well. And is continually building and certainly can help you in that area, you know, so I think that you’ve been brilliant at this event. I’m glad you’ve had such a great time. Is there anything you’d like to share with anyone watching, about how they could grow or anything you’d like to add to what we discussed in terms of how business owners or maybe mums or people can just push forward more and start to make the progress that you’ve been making over the past few months?

[00:08:06] Sandra Lukoseviciene: The main thing I will say, like don’t stay with your fears. It’s not going to lead you anywhere. Just try to find a way how to overcome them because all of us can do anything we want. Just, we need to do it. Just, it’s two options. Either you’re staying in your fear or you either you’re doing something and coming over.

[00:08:24] I’m constantly doing that my past few years with everything, university, driving business, everything what I can to overcome. And if you’re overcoming one fear, you’re getting something harder, maybe fear, but it’s coming more easy. You know, if you keep doing that, it’s becoming more easy and easy.

[00:08:43] You challenge yourself maybe more, but it’s coming more easy and easy. So just believe in yourself.

[00:08:48] Adam Stott: And we can definitely see that in you. You keep growing and you keep stepping up. So I want to say a big congratulations. Congratulations on your award. It’s great to see your media articles that you’ve received and fundamentally really excited about your, uh, about your future and what you’re going to accomplish.

[00:09:04] Thanks for coming on, sharing some of your story. It’s been amazing. Pleasure. Pleasure.
